The Generation 6000 range comprises over 200 new appliances, from conventional ovens and steam ovens to coffee machines, cooker hoods and microwaves. These will be available in two new design lines, each created to complement different kitchen styles.
PureLine has a greater use of glass in the appliance fascia and a handle that appears to float above the glass front while ContourLine has a stainless steel framed glass door and integrated handle. Each line offers a complete range of appliances with a choice of user interfaces, including high-tech touch controls, which can be mixed and matched to create a co-ordinated look. There were also brand new fascia colours in the form of Obsidian Black and Havana Brown to shake things up even further. The collections will be on sale from May. (www.miele.co.uk)
