A Royal affair…
If you fancy mingling with the Royals this summer, get yourself down to the Coronation Festival in the gardens of Buckingham Palace, which takes place between 11th and 14th July.
Celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s Coronation, this one-off event is open to the public and will bring together companies and individuals who hold Royal Warrants of Appointment, a mark of recognition for supplying goods or services to the Households of the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh and the Prince of Wales for more than five years.
There will be over 200 Royal Warrant holders exhibiting, one of which is Kent-based Stoneham Kitchens, specialists in bespoke kitchens and quality furniture making.
‘We’re thrilled to be taking part in such a prestigious event,’ says Adrian Stoneham, Managing Director.
‘As a family company, we’re not a business that’s about being here today, gone tomorrow. We take a long-term view, and this Festival is a great opportunity to join other businesses that share our ethos of quality and innovation. The Coronation Festival is going to be a wonderful opportunity to launch our anniversary celebrations and unveil a preview of our special edition 1864 collection.’
There will be gala evenings with music and entertainment and the event will also mark the beginning of Stoneham’s 150th anniversary celebrations. The Royal Preview will take place on 11th July for invited guests including members of the Royal Family, charities, patronages, media, armed forces and guests of the Royal Warrant Holders Association but you can see the exhibition for yourself from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th July.
